About Cara McEvoy
I am a stay-at-home mom of two who spent 15 years working and loving in NYC and have since, recently moved to NYC’s 6th borough……that’s right – New Jersey. As much as I lament having to say that, it was necessary in order to avoid becoming a homicidal maniac. I used to have a career but now I wear pajamas….all the time. I like wine. I watch bad TV and I still swear in front of my toddler at least once a day no matter how hard I try not to. I will return to work eventually, if this world will take me back.
I also love photography and just being behind a camera. It is the ultimate comfort zone for me. I spend many days chasing my kids around like a stalker snapping pictures of them at every turn. I’m pretty sure they’ll need a support group because of this one day. I also try to capture beautiful things and things that might not seem beautiful but compel you to find it’s beauty.
This site is one part photography experiments and one part photo journaling highlighting the adventures of a passionate photographer and of parenthood.
In addition, I offer child and family portrait photography sessions. Head back to the main menu to learn about my background, pricing and to book a session.
